In Bretenière, a European Parliament committee commends INRA’s expertise in reducing pesticide use
On 19 September 2018, twenty representatives from the Special Committee on the Union’s authorisation procedure for pesticides (PEST) of the European Parliament visited INRA’s Époisses Experimental Farm in Bretenière, France. Chaired by the French Member of the European Parliament Eric Andrieu, the committee’s objective is to review the research conducted to reduce pesticide use in agriculture.

The Agroecology Unit and the Époisses Experimental Unit of the INRA Research Centre of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté are at the forefront of research in reducing pesticide use in agriculture. Several INRA researchers presented their research to the delegation.
