This trophy rewards the coordinators of European research and innovation projects, conducted by a French organisation in the framework of the Horizon 2020 programme.

The TeRiFiQ project aims to reduce the salt, fat and sugar contents of the most frequently consumed foods in Europe, while maintaining the best possible acceptability for the consumer.

The ceremony took place in the presence of Najat Vallaud-Belkacem, French Minister of Education, Higher Education and Research and Thierry Mandon, French Minister of State for Higher Education and Research.

This award confirms that questions concerning healthier food are of great interest to society.
