The LISTO (Laboratory for Socio-Technical and Organisational Innovation in Agriculture) is a INRA research unit with which ENESAD teacher-researchers are associated. The unit belongs to the Science for Action and Sustainable Development Division of INRA. It is located in Dijon (France, Burgundy).
It is composed of a multidisciplinary team which is interested in the change, or changes, which affect agriculture through new requirements imposed on it: changes in farmers’ practices, changes in the organizations that support agricultural development or in the collectives started to support such or such view on agriculture and the farmer’s job. Sociology and agronomy highlight what being a farmer, adviser or trade union official today means. All these transformations are being recast into a long-time perspective through the historical approaches adopted by the laboratory.
